I am laying in bed, it’s 2AM and I am researching how to refinance my house. In a few minutes I will most likely make a peanut butter sandwich and then watch another episode of Breaking Bad before finally calling it a night.
Sometimes I wonder, when did I become 26? Wasn’t I just turning 21 like, yesterday? And since when do I spend my time researching interest rates on a 30-year fixed mortgage?
It’s difficult to take a step back from my ex-pat life and glance over my peanut butter sandwich at the list of things which make up my current persona. It’s such a foreign concept to consider myself a real adult. So, inspired by this list, I decided to make my own shortlist of adult things I do (even though sometimes I sleep until 1PM and eat Ramen noodles in the bed).
