ootd // the traveling lbd.

I should probably just change the name of my blog title to “100 Ways to Wear Birkenstocks.” Initially, I brought some fancier (see also: less comfortable) shoes for my first dinner in New Orleans. My feet were actually killing me though, so I threw the Birks on instead. This little black dress is definitely more of a casual style, but I find that I can make it work for anything.

This thrifted Free People dress is still one of my favorite finds of all time. It’s a style I wouldn’t normally choose for myself: buttons, drop waist, straight silhouette — but I love the fabric and the pockets, so I wear it quite frequently.
