letters, the seventh.

Dear Autumn, I’ve never wished so hard for summer to be over in my life. Please bring some cool breezes, red leaves, and sweater weather my way. Korea is so beautiful during the in-between seasons.

Dear Wardrobe, Speaking of autumn, did you know we don’t possess any sweaters? I blame Texas. Sorry about that, but good news: we have a valid excuse to go shopping!

Dear Dumpling Stand Lady, I know every time the waygooks show up asking for mandu, you might secretly roll your eyes. The truth is, we don’t know how to order anything else. However, we are becoming mandu connoisseurs – napjack mandu, gimchi mandu, gogi mandu — with a paper cup of fish broth? Sure, bring it on.

Dear Typhoons, Not a fan. Peace out.

Dear Kikiitinkorea, Best. Tumblr. Ever. Seriously, I laughed my ass off at work, much to the confusion of those around me. (Must-read humor blog for ex-pats in Korea.)

Oh autumn – I’m so ready for it! Also, yay sweaters! I used to be really good at dressing for summer, but something changed and now I think my wardrobe is much better suited for fall.

I am dreading winter….it can be brutal!!!! Stock up on those leggings on the streets (usually like 3 for 10,000 won)…I wear 1-2 pairs under my pants during winter.
